A second working meeting of the Initiative for cross-border tourism "ROSEB"

The second working meeting of the Initiative for cross-border tourism "ROSEB" held in Caracal, brought together participants from three countries: Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia, counties and districts signatories of this collaborative initiatives, including there were participants in Olt, Dolj, Mehedinti, Bor, Zaječar, Vratsa, Montana, Vidin: representatives of governments through ministries of tourism in the three countries, chambers of commerce, county councils, local councils, mayors, representatives of departments of European funds, investment development, tourism, tourist information centers, museums, cultural institutions, hotels, travel agencies, NGOs, experts tourism companies working in tourism, etc.
 
Project ideas discussed at the event will stimulate cooperation between regions that have affiliate objectives pursued and discussed will be implemented in an environment of cooperation by addressing coherent dedicated their proximity and common interests.
 
The hosts of the event, Mayor of Caracal and the Local Council of Caracal represented at the event by the Mayor Radu Dumitru Liviu, Deputy Mayor Octavian Stănescu and local councilors are ready to work with all interested partners of socio-economic development to support tourism development and cultural heritage of the shared border. Collaborating and creating partnerships, joint projects in the fields of public administration, private sector and civil that society will revitalize communities, will lead to economic growth and improved quality of life and standard of living of the population.
 
Common interest to promote an integrated approach to tourism development and cultural potential of these regions will build cooperation between the tourism departments of government and with NGOs, travel agencies and other operators involved in these areas. These will promote attractions, traditions, costumes, local cuisine, cultural events organized to exchange and to participate in these events. Also it was discussed the development of tourism infrastructure, a common network of tourist information and also creating new jobs in this area.
 
National Tourist Information Center Caracal will hold between 9 to 11 June 2017 The second edition of the fair "Made in Caracal", to be held in parallel with the 48th edition of Festival international "Romanian gag" (9 to 11 June 2017), inviting partners from these countries are altăture the Fair as exhibitors and guests will also invite potential tourists from these areas to visit the Fair and Festival.
