Fire Watch Tower

The Fire Tower, a high tower, circular, with a surveillance platform, was built in 1901, on the site of Michael the Brave's palace near the city Fire Command, which is coordinated by the City Hall. From there, the platform, the watchman looked town and gave the alarm when you notice a possible fire. Service extinguished the fire functioned until 1936, when all units of firefighters were militarized.

Currently, the building Fire Tower is no longer used, retained as a monument of architecture, and a witness of a certain level of civilization of society and the building Command fire no longer exists in its place is Polyvalent Hall and Lyceum Mihai Viteazul.
